Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 148 detached home sales through the Toronto MLS® in December 2021; and on average, these detached homes sold for $2,178,132.
Last year, in December 2020, Toronto MLS® reported 184 freehold detached home sales across Toronto – which is a 20% decrease in volume for this year. It was also reported that on average, freehold detached homes sold for $2,043,130 in December 2020 – and that’s a 7% increase in sale prices for this December!
With respect to semi-detached homes: Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 112 semi-detached home sales in December 2021; and on average, these semi-detached homes sold for $1,527,533 last month.
That compares to 159 semi-detached home sales in December 2020 – which is a 30% decrease in volume for this year. But again, it was also reported that on average, semi-detached homes sold for $1,334,163 in December 2020 – and that’s an 14% increase in sale prices for this December!
With respect to condo sales, Central Toronto REALTORS® reported 831 condo sales in December 2021; and on average, these condos sold for $833,308 last month.
In December 2020, there were 933 condo sales – which is a 11% decrease in volume for this year. On average, these condos sold for $704,375 – and that’s a 18% increase in sale prices for this December!
